THE STOREYS OF LANCASTER.
In the Troutbeck Lord's Rental, 1706, an Elizabeth Storey appears amongst the
tenants. She is described as a spinster. Mr. Browne thinks this lady must have
been a sister of John Storey, though he has not got her down in his pedigree of the
Storeys. The name is not included in Sheet II. Pedigree of Storeys of Old Hutton
and Troutbeck.
