Joseph Story, the eminent United States Judge and Daine professor of law in Harvard University, has been supplied by Mr. Henry Grafton Story, son of Major-General Joseph Grafton Story. It has been deemed most advisable to give the pedigree in the form as drawn up by the compiler, the said Mr. H. G. Story, of 1270, Pacific Street, Brooklyn. U.S.A.

The Norroy King of Arms when shown these arms at the Herald Office, London, said the Storie family to whom belong this coat-of-arms was one of the oldest families in England next to the Peerage.
ELISHA STORY.Elisha Story of England, arrived in Boston, Mass., New England, with his only sister Sarah Story, (Elisha her only brother) in 1700. They were members of the Old South Church, (Boston) in 1704. The above Sarah Story married Aug. 20, 1710, Thomas Dawes, and had issue.
